Radio (First Semester): This course provides an overview of the broadcasting industry that includes areas of the radio. Subjects to be covered include areas of announcing, producing, marketing and copyrighting. This course provides “hands-on” experience.

TV Broadcasting 1 (Second Semester ): This course provides an overview of the broadcasting industry that includes areas of television. Subjects to be covered include areas of filming, producing, marketing and copyrighting. This course provides “hands-on” experience.

5.Stunde: English 10

Using World Literature as an instructional base, Tenth Grade Language Arts students will focus on reading, writing, technology, and research as outlined in the Michigan Curriculum Framework. Throughout the course, students will integrate listening, viewing, and speaking to interpret and report findings, examine auditory presentations, draw conclusions, problem solve, and apply critical thinking skills. Effective reading strategies, multiple genres, literary devices, and thematic selections will be examined. By applying conventions of the writing process, students will refine and polish each of the following writing types – reflective, narrative, and descriptive, compare/contrast, persuasive, and literary analysis. In addition, a national or global issue will be examined so the student may demonstrate the research writing process. 6.Stunde: Algebra 2

This is a one-year college preparatory course that will help students view algebra not only as a theoretical tool for analyzing and describing mathematical relationships, but they will also experience the power of algebraic thinking in the context of application by studying the mathematical modeling of the real world problems. The course content will include a rigorous approach to the family of functions: linear, quadratic, polynomial, power, logarithmic, and recursive.

We went to Royal Oak to come to the Woodward Dream Cruise.
